Meet
Mrs. Neas Mrs. Neas was born in Austin, Texas while her
father was stationed there in the United States Army. He
retired from the service when she was nine months old and the family
returned home to Wichita. Growing up in Wichita, she remembers
a time when the old Wichita Mall was "Kiddieland", a place you could
go to ride the ponies. She attended Munger , Cessna, Dodge
Elementary schools and Mayberry Junior High School. She
graduated from Clearwater High School. She is multi-lingual,
fluent in both French and Spanish. She originally wanted to be
a marine biologist and work on Jacques Cousteau's boat but realized
that would be no place to raise a family so she switched gears to
education. She received her Bachelor's degree from Wichita State
University.
Before coming to Riverside she taught at Irving and White
Elementary in kindergarten and first grades.
Mrs. Neas has been married for fourteen years and has two
children. They enjoy traveling and camping. Their
favorite camping spot is the Shell Knob area of Tablerock Lake. |
